Books on Broadway has partnered with Libro.fm, which means subscribers of the audiobook service provider will be able to donate a portion of the subscription fees to support local bookstores. Members will be able to purchase audiobooks on Libro.fm directly through the Books on Broadway platform.
In this way, buyers will be able to access the more than 215,000 audiobooks offered by Libro.fm. Members will also have personalized recommendations which have been curated by the bookseller’s own experts. The applicable fees range from a monthly subscription to a one-time payment. There is an audiobook credit that members will get in exchange for a monthly subscription of $ 14.99 USD plus tax.
Active members also have the option of gifting an audiobook to any recipient anywhere in the world. The recipient will have the freedom to choose an audiobook of their choice. As usual, any purchase made will ensure that part of the transaction amount goes to support a local bookstore, meaning traditional bookstores can thrive in the age of e-books and audiobooks as well.
With a keen interest in technology, I make a point of keeping up to date with the latest developments in the world of tech and gadgets. This includes smartphones or tablets, but even extends to AI and self-driving cars, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like to watch videos, read, listen to music or experiment with different recipes. Cinema is another aspect that interests me a lot and maybe I will make a film in the future.
